For the last couple of years we've been going to Bishop's Farm. We just LOVE IT! Obviously this was a couple of weeks ago, but I am just getting around to posting them. Some of these turned out cute that I think I may frame a couple of them.
Zakry loves all things that make noise, are huge, and move. Tractors being no exception to the rule. Granted it's not a motorcycle, but it was fun to sit on nonetheless.
I couldn't help but get photos of the girls on the tractor too.
Andon is very into moving vehicles as well.
The train is one of our favorite things to do together. We usually ride soon after we arrive at the farm because the line can get VERRRY long. It just occurred to me that I am actually in the photo. Huh. Well..somewhat. One of the employees there offered to take our picture. This started an entire conversation on how he had bought his wife the same camera not too long ago. Go figure. I guess everyone is getting better cameras and better photos. I mean really, who doesn't want better photos?
Was it just me, or were the pumpkins EXTRA HUGE this year?! I'm kindof bummed I didn't get a bigger pumpkin, but I fell in love with the cinderella pumpkins this year, so I got one of those. Oops, no picture however.
I don't know why I like pictures of just legs and feet, or just arms and such. We won't delve too far into a theory.
Brittnee wanted to pose for everything. Finally, someone who will let me experiment!!
Look at that goose just stare at me while I take his picture! Obviously he has "small man" complex. Hence the sign. (shiver)
The kids loved petting the animals. I wanted to follow them around with hand sanitizer. Really, this section of the farm just reminds me that I would not have been a good pioneer. They would have left me somewhere along the Oregon trail.
Do you SEE where Zak's hand is??!! I bless the name of the people who invented hand sanitizer.
The boys were sitting in this cute little mini produce truck while we paid for our pumpkins. As I pulled out my camera and focused them in the view finder, I was instantly hit with a bit of nostalgia for the simpler times, the "Mayberry" life. Sometimes I long for good old traditional living that existed years ago. 
All in all, Bishop's Farm is something to look forward when Fall arrives. Hopefully soon we'll actually be able to find a Saturday free to get to Apple Hill. I'm dying to cook up a Sour Cream Apple Pie. (sigh)

I would've been left on the trail too! But at least you let you kids pet the animals! I just can't bring myself to let them....hand sanitizer and all :)
Great pictures!! So what kind of camera do you use? I may need to look into it.

I LOVE Bishop's pumpkin farm! There is nothing that cool out here. The picture with the goat had me rolling! Hand sanitzer is God's gift to mothers, I'm sure of it.
I like the shot of the goats bum in the pic with Brit :). I wish there was a good pumpkin farm around here!!!

I don't know if you'll read the comments section again, but I have a Nikkon D40. And I love it! It's not too bulky to want to carry it around everywhere.
Those are great, I love that farm too, although we go during the week when the crowds aren't so big. Your kids are just so cute, I love seeing pics of them. Do you take most of your pictures in Auto? I have a D40 but I have not tried to experiment too much? Which editing program do you use as-well if any? They are great photos...nice work.

I take most everything in the default settings. Of course I use the portrait, motion, etc settings, but those are usually in the default. Really the only thing I change is the ISO. I've tried to go strictly manual, but I can't get them to turn out. The lighting is all wrong. I'm hoping to take a photography class soon. As for software, I don't have any, but I'm hoping to remedy that. I like Adobe's CS2 version because you can buy and use Actions that you can't on Elements. How are you liking the D40?
Wow, you have quite the Q & A going on in your comment section. I love it. You are just a wealth of information. I for one love the mac daddy on the pumpkin. It is nice to see Doug having fun with his family. I would like to see more of you in the pics. Your kids won't know what you looked like when they were young. You are the genius behind the camera. Do you have any time in your busy schedule to do our family photos for Christmas. Let me know.

I would love to do your photos but it makes me extremely nervous cause I am not a professional. What if you hate them? I don't think I could take that kind of rejection. Just kidding. On the rejection part. You guys will be the first people I've taken other than my kids, so have a backup plan in case they don't turn out. I'm still learning about my camera.
But I'm willing cause you you guys are just good looking people. Any photo with you in it would be cute!
I love my Nikon, but I feel like I have been neglecting it a little lately. I haven't played much with the ISO, I will have to look into that. I play with the Aperture quite a bit, everything is taken in the modes, portrait, etc. It's great though, my sister was jealous and she has a rebel.
